The 46-year-old awards show has always been a shameless celebration of celebrity culture, but since the Basic American Cable Channel E! took over the show in 2017, it switched to eleven o'clock. It's not normally the sort of thing that interests us here at DMARGE, but one man had a change of heart on his own.

Enter fashion stylist and TV personality Brad Goreski, who wowed the crowds with her impeccable sartorial flair. Canadian-style wizard looked like a million dollars, rocking the red carpet in eye-catching blue velvet Gucci suit, Christian Louboutin moccasins and jewelry dazzled Cartier.

The all-white pants and shirt as well as the relaxed Southern-style bow tie immediately recall the iconic outfit of Colonel Harland Sanders, the founder of the KFC fast food chain - and indeed, Goreski looks crispier than a offer of fried chicken. The aviator-style eyewear and extra-wide lapels also add to the old-school Americana aesthetic, one that Gucci has largely channeled recently with the launch of its new suit line, with Iggy Pop, A $ AP Rocky and Tyler, the creator.

Currently in-house stylist for the American luxury fashion house Kate spade, Goreski, 43, has styled celebrities like Jessica Alba, Demi Moore and Rashida Jones, among others. He also did vocal work for Family guy, was judge for Miss Universe and interned at Vogue.

The 46th People's Choice Awards was a celebrity affair, the highlights of which included a performance by Justin bieber and that of Australia Chris Hemsworth win `` The Action Movie Star of 2020 '' for her performance in Netflix Extraction.
