Being stripped of my go-go-go lifestyle in March has been one of the most difficult and transformative times of my life.

My world was turned upside down and I found myself with thoughts, anxiety, and hurts that I was pushing under the mat at a rapid pace.

I was forced to look at myself in the mirror and really see myself for the first time in a long time.

Who is Kasey? How do I want to introduce myself?

How can I take more time for myself while staying in my business?

Looking back at different times in my life, each season that I went through really laid the groundwork for the next, although at the time we didn't see it that way.

I used to ask "why am I going through this?" I allowed myself to feel sorry for myself for a few minutes, then I would flip the script and walk forward, remembering that every setback was really a comeback from the other side.

I was at the lowest point I've ever been to (probably since I was 10 and first suffered from anxiety) a few months ago. Looking back now, this season that I wanted so badly to get out of, really took off the layers that I needed to let go.

My voice, which has always been there (we'll get to that in the next article), had to appear through thoughts to think it would be a roadblock. In the first episode of Cats loyal to youI will be talking about this whole transformative time in my life and look forward to sharing this with all of you.

I have learned to evolve with your own seasons because they can all be different and take on the challenges that can lead to change. You never know who will inspire you, even yourself, along the way, to appear in your real self.

Fun fact: we (me and my photographer) took these photos a short time ago as part of my "comeback" shots. It was so good to lace up the sneakers, put on makeup, go to a new place and have fun with these pics of 31 year old Kasey posing as herself.

I'm also obsessed with this "frost peach" color with the navy touch of Zappos. At first they didn't have my size but you can sign up to get alerts and I was able to catch these beauties. They match the size and I am an 8.5 in women!
