BEST Beauty Services and Treatments: When you need a little time or some personal care, these are my 6 favorite appointments to make!

This post was sponsored by Laser Hair Removal in Milan, and I received services in return for sharing my experience. HOWEVER, all of my thoughts and opinions are mine… as always.

Before I dive into my favorite beauty services and treatments, I want to make sure you know that mental health is a top priority in life for me, and while heading for a relaxing body treatment or physical service is REALLY. , really nice ... a big part in my happiness is making sure my values are met, which are things like:

  • a safe and secure home life
  • the health of my "babies"
  • a great wedding
  • my faith
  • … and more

So please don't hear what I'm not saying.

Beauty services and treatments are, absolutely, a wonderful way to experience a pick-me-up… and are a great way to get more out of life. But after going through an incredibly difficult and emotional time, I don't know if there is a service or treatment that could have pulled me out of this dark and deep place I was in.

But now after coming out of that hole and continuing to live like a busy working mom at home, you better believe that a nice day for myself taking care of yourself is one of my things favorite to do.

And today, I'm sharing with you, exactly what this is in case you are looking for some “lift” activities to do too!

My 6 "go-to" beauty treatments and treatments

Fantabulosity standing on the porch of the Sacajawea hotel in Montana

When a day opens, when there is an opportunity to go out, for myself ... I immediately think,

Why do I have time and what can I do to show myself some love?

and that's where I start ...

1. Laser hair removal

Oh friend… if you are new around here you might not have heard of this glorious new laser hair removal treatment I got from Milan.

I had wanted to do laser hair removal for years but when I started looking a few years ago I didn't know where to go ... until I found my Milan. Milan laser hair removal is not just another "laser hair center". They have become like a family.

When I walked in for the first time free consultation, I was greeted by the kindest and friendliest staff. They made me feel at home and totally at ease. (Which is great when you know you're about to expose yourself to a stranger for hair removal in an area only your husband and OB see.)

After the first treatment I got CROCHED. The "before afterMy armpits alone blew me away.

Mental health + laser hair removal

At the start of this article, I talked about the importance of mental health and want to follow up on the power combination of mental health and laser hair removal.

When I met the girls in Milan, they shared with me stories of men and women (unnamed, of course) who lived with depression and frustration because of the hairy areas on their bodies, and coping with it caused pain, bleeding. and embarrassment.

But with the help of laser hair removal, their life has LITERALLY changed. Removing the hair from those troubled areas of their body relieved stress and pain, and brought them so much more joy!

THIS… this, my friends, is something that stood out to me and helps me appreciate how permanently getting rid of hair with laser hair removal can do for someone and made me so much more passionate about sharing laser hair removal with you.

I might just have my legs, armpits, and Brazilian treatments to make life more convenient without having to shave, but laser hair removal can be a serious game-changer in someone's life.

So if you or someone you know is having a hard time with something like this or just want “Say No To Shave” laser hair removal… I want to share a code with you that will get you 60 % reduction… yes, 60%! !!

CODE: FANTABULOSITY60

Visit Milan to see if you have a clinic near you (as of this article's posting they have 100 clinics !!) so you can have a free consultation. Don't forget to give them the code: FANTABULOSITY60 for your discount on any treatment areas you choose (Attention: if you decide to buy Full Body, you already get such a discount that my code cannot be applied.)

PS I haven't told you in this post yet, although I did here and here but with Milan you pay a price for the body area you want, and it's an unlimited price, lifetime warranty on this area of the body. This means that for one price, you can get as many treatments as you need to achieve your hairless goals at no additional cost. Say goodbye to those pesky-haired women. (And the men.)

2. Nails

What makes you feel so good about your nails? I think for me it makes me feel a little pretty, girly (in that house full of boys) and even makes me feel like I have my life together… what we all know is a joke. But hey, no one is perfect, right?

When I do my nails I go for "gel" or "shellac" and you can almost guarantee that I will come out with a shade of pink. (Even though I sit and stare at the color guide for about 20 minutes, pretending my life depends on choosing the right color. - insert an eyeroll -)

Why am I doing this? It's like I can make a business decision in a jiffy, decide in seconds if my kids should or shouldn't try something new ... but damn it never ask me to decide on a nail color in less than 20 minutes. I'm going to get mad and go out the door!

3. Pedicure

So everything i said above about my nails ??? Insert it here. Long decision time on nail color and all.

BUT… I will say that I normally only get a pedicure every 6 months. Why? Because I'm crazy how long I can keep this shellac on my toes without looking like a horror movie to save money. No kidding.

4. Spray Tan (airbrush)

I only became a fan of spray tanning recently, but when I first did it I knew I would never go back to a tanning bed. (Accompanying note: I actually worked in a tanning salon for a few months in high school and they wanted us to tan as often as possible so that we could "promote" that their beds worked. Looking back, and knowing what I know now, I wish I had never done this, but that's what I guess. I just have to keep an eye on things these days after all those trips to the false sun.)

But a spray tan? Girl… I left. When we're heading to Mexico or it's summer, you'll find me looking for a place that offers airbrush tans - where someone is actually spraying your body - yes, your naked body - and you leave in a few minutes with a beautiful golden color!

See my message on "How to Prepare for a Tanning Spray" here!

5. Facials

I admit that I don't get facials as often as I would like. But when I do I feel like my face loves me again, especially after some of those cold, dry days here. Montana.

If the spa I visit has a “vitamin C” facial on the menu, this is my go-to. I love the citrus smells during the treatment and I feel it gives my skin a nice boost.

But let's face it… beauticians are recommending "age reducing" facials to me these days and I'm slowly accepting it for what it is. Haha!

6. Massages

Now I love a good massage. I don't get them as often as I would like either, but when I do, I feel like the doors to Heaven have opened and all is well with the world.

Accompanying note: I enjoy the usual massages so much, that I am so relaxed and that I begin to moan high sighs during the treatment…. while I fall asleep. It's super embarrassing, but the sheer joy I feel during this hour outweighs all my insecurities. Besides… they must have heard / seen worse, right?

What are your favorite beauty services and treatments?

That's it! These are my 6 favorite beauty services and treatments! I would love to hear what you are!

I want to try to "float" someday. (Is that what it's called? I don't know. That thing where you're supposed to float on the water and relax? I'm terrified of deep water, so even though it's 2 inches deep , I may still have trouble relaxing completely.)

My son has had intravenous therapy for his epilepsy and I always wanted to try this too, just for hydration purposes, but I'm not sure if I will ever get there.

I have also heard that cryotherapy is an important thing right now ??? I don't even know what it is… maybe I should google it.

So tell me… what is your favorite.

And remember…. if you call Milan Laser Hair Removal, give them the code: Fantabulosity60 to get this amazing discount!
