I grew up with Laura Ashley. Some of my earliest memories are choosing beautiful printed dresses with my mom. They were among my most precious objects. So my heart sank when I heard that the Laura Ashley brand was suffering this year under pressure from COVID-19, closing its stores and business. Fortunately, fast forward a few months and there are better times! Given my goals to achieve beauty and skin care cleanser products, I dived into the ingredients in this collection and am happy to report that it gets a high score for clean components.

As for the gifts themselves; there is a huge range to choose from, ranging from storage loads like the Collection of luxury hand and nail creams, to the Laura Ashley Ultimate Indulgence Gift Set which is currently better than half the price at Boots UK. The Ultimate Indulgence Gift Set in particular is a wise investment, considering it's packed full of goodies, including bath foam, body cream, and - a personal favorite - the gentlest eye mask. I love this print, with its gently curved leaves and abundance of flowers, it taps into my love for all things botanical. The print will feature heavily in the brand's upcoming new home collection, and I can't wait to see it reiterated in new ways.

And, because they’re rich in fiber, they help to aid absorption ( aka keep you regular ! ) and keep you feeling full longer.

Using a fitness tracker ( like the Fitbit, Apple Watch or similar ) to track your steps is an easy way to make sure you’re getting enough physical activity each day. Conventional household cleaning products are full of harmful chemical ingredients that are not good for our health ( or the health of our kids or pets ! ). Switching to healthier alternatives is a simple way to reduce your exposure to environmental toxins in your home. Similar to cleaning products, conventional skincare and personal care products are formulated with toxic ingredients we should not regularly let absorb into our body’s largest organ. Aim to get at least 30 minutes of sunlight each day—preferably in the afternoon, and without sunscreen ( read more about that here ). Not much sunlight in the winter where you live ?
