Kyler Murray scored a touchdown on Sunday and did a sitting meditation pose, which looked really cool… but for some reason everyone thought he was channeling Baby Yoda.
It’s funny for several reasons. First of all, wouldn’t the first thought be that this was a mediation and not a reference to popular pop culture?
Second: Kyler Murray has never seen one Star wars, as you will see below. So yeah, it wasn’t Baby Yoda.
I’ll even add a third reason: one of his teammates nicknamed him Baby Yoda!
Confused? Okay, let’s break it down. Here’s the celebration, which everyone thought was Baby Yoda in Season 2 of The Mandalorian:

Uh, but he never saw Star wars and so it wasn’t a Baby Yoda pose:

Yet Chandler Jones called him Baby Yoda this year:

Nice team victory! Baby Yoda is gone anyway!

The conclusion here: Jones has to show Murray a bunch of Star wars content before showing him The Mandalorian so Murray can make a real Baby Yoda celebration. It’s not like Murray is busy these days or anything.
