Back to School with Lane Bryant

— *** Thanks to my friends at LB for sponsoring this “Back to School” post .— *** Year 13! OMG! I can’t believe I’m literally a teenager this year ….. Well not exactly! The 2020-2021 school year marks my 13th year as an educator. The years have gone by so quickly that I can’t keep up with all of my students now. As an educator, one of the keys to success is learning to stay in my lane. As in Lane Bryant. As administrators, counselors, and educators prepare to return to their campuses, it’s important to take a look at… Read More »Back to School with Lane Bryant

Sleeping in Cacique – Lane Bryant

** I want to thank my friends at Lane Bryant for sponsoring this article. ** The holiday season is upon us, which means it’s time to shop. There is no better feeling than planning my shopping list for friends and family. This year, we plan to stay home and socially distance ourselves from each other. One idea we are considering is to have a virtual sleepover. Yes, a virtual sleepover. For fun, I would love to have matching pajamas. As I browsed, I noticed that Lane Bryant had on cute pajamas. If you like matching sets or coordinating sets, Lane… Read More »Sleeping in Cacique – Lane Bryant

I’ve always been someone who loves a good theme and with Memorial Day in a few days and July 4th in a few weeks, a good red, white, and blue outfit (or two) is just what my closet needs. Lane Bryant still has some of the cutest collections and this year’s Americana collection doesn’t disappoint. Plus, most of the items are cotton which is absolutely necessary for the summer heat in Houston, especially when we are… Read More »Red, White and Blue with Lane Bryant

Have a good bump day! Spring is a great time to get your body moving. Working out doesn’t mean you’re trying to lose weight. Many plus size women train because they I LIKE THIS and the other benefits that exercise brings. Exercise can help improve your endurance and strengthen your core. There are also emotional benefits to exercising regularly. Exercise is known to increase the production of endorphins in the brain. This increase can help fight depression and anxiety. I can confirm this. Exercising instantly improves my mood, especially if I’m having a bad day. Another benefit of exercise is… Read More »Get Moving With Lane Bryant & Livi – Grown and Curvy Woman

Back Outside With Lane Bryant – Grown and Curvy Woman

Have a good bump day! Now that the exterior has “reopened”, I (safely) took advantage. One of the things I learned about myself in my forties is that I’m a very social person. I love to be with my friends and family. I like the freedom to go where I want when I want. This freedom stifled last year was one of the reasons I got the vaccine in March. Once the weather started to warm up I was out of here! The only problem was that I needed new “outdoor” clothes. I had sold a lot of my clothes… Read More »Back Outside With Lane Bryant – Grown and Curvy Woman

Fall Plus Size Date Night Dresses From Lane Bryant

Take a break from jeans and try on one of these cute plus size evening dresses. When it comes to dating, I love to don a chic dress. During the fall season, I look for dresses with a thicker fabric. A nice stretch jersey knit is my favorite. And I really love a dress that hugs my curves in a flattering way. Typically, I wear a dress in bright colors or fun prints when me and my boo go out. I rarely wear black. However, this year I’m trying to step out of my comfort zone and wear things that… Read More »Fall Plus Size Date Night Dresses From Lane Bryant

GET TONE AND FIT FASTER TIPS OF THE DAY The successful trade between the Food and Bear cubs the deadline day was almost even bigger, as The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal writes Kris bryant was also part of the discussions between the two clubs. The real commercial saw Javier Baez and Trevor Williams go to New York in exchange for the best hope Pete Crow-Armstrong, but Rosenthal reports that the larger version of the trade would have also seen the Mets land Bryant and another player off Chicago’s big-league roster. In return, the Cubs would have received not only Crow-Armstrong, but… Read More »NL Notes: Bryant, Cubs, Mets, Baez, Lindor, Longoria

Cubs, Giants Have Reportedly Discussed Kris Bryant Trade

The Giants and Cubs had talks about a possible Kris bryant trade, reports Jon Morosi of MLB.com (Twitter link). Chicago evaluates San Francisco wide receiver Joey bart as a possible part of those conversations, according to Morosi, although he unsurprisingly adds that the Giants aren’t likely to abandon Bart for Bryant alone. Bryant has plenty of experience at third base and throughout the outfield, making him a viable fit on many contenders’ rosters. San Francisco should get Evan longoria back from the injured list next month, so the front office is likely considering Bryant as a potential pickup in the… Read More »Cubs, Giants Have Reportedly Discussed Kris Bryant Trade
